Reservation of employees

The team of lawyers of law firm LEXAID provided reservation of 50 % of the number of employees liable for military service in several IT companies under the reservation procedure updated in 2023.

We and our clients were among the first to test the updated requirements and went through all the steps along the way, up to the stage of notifying the relevant TCCs and JVs about the reservation of employees liable for military service and enrolling them in special military registration.

The updated reservation procedure stipulates that managers and deputies, as well as 50% of the number (as of the date of submission of the list) of employees subject to military service who work in a company with the status of critical for the functioning of the economy and ensuring the vital activity of the population during a special period, are subject to reservation.

At the first stage, we prepare and support the submission of all the necessary documents to recognize the company as critical for the functioning of the economy and ensuring the vital activity of the population during a special period.

At the final stage, we prepare and support the submission of the documents required for the reservation of employees and, upon receipt of a positive decision, monitor compliance with the procedure for informing the relevant TCCs and JVs about the reservation of employees subject to military service and their enrollment in special military registration.

At the moment, we are also working on requests from our clients to reserve more than 50% of the number of employees liable for military service, as the current procedure provides for such a possibility if there is a justified need.
